We have been following the development of the Uniform MPJE for several years and have been proactively preparing resources to support candidates taking the new exam.

Update on Uniform MPJE Adoption:
The following states have signed up as “early adopters” of the Uniform MPJE and will either require or offer the Uniform MPJE effective April 1, 2026:
Arizona, Iowa, Kansas, North Carolina, Ohio, and Rhode Island
The Florida Board of Pharmacy as well as Maryland, Montana, Nebraska and West Virginia have announced they will be requiring the Uniform MPJE starting June 1, 2026.
Washington State will be adopting the UMPJE starting on July 1, 2026.
Virginia will be adopting the UMPJE starting on October 1, 2026.
Other states are considering adopting the exam. Check back for updates or check the NABP website for updates.
